Smooth tapered leader for long-range surf casting


The Shimano Speedmaster Surf Tapered Leader is designed for use with thinner diameter mono mainlines or lighter braided mainlines, helping absorb the pressure imparted on the line during long-range casting.

Each leader is 15m long and suits different surf rod lengths and casting styles. It has a smooth finish to minimise friction as it moves through the rod guides, along with high abrasion resistance and excellent knot strength to cope with the stress of longer casts.
