The self-hooking design allows you to easily catch fish without striking and makes for easy hook removal as fish usually hook themselves in the corner of the mouth. The red over gold (KL Red) coating of the hook induces strikes as well as making it rust resistant for a longer life.

A soft lumo bead makes the Black Magic Tarahiki Snatcher Flasher Rig even more enticing in deep water or at night. For extra appeal, you can add a small triangle of bait (taking care to avoid blocking the gape).
